計画敷地は、30坪弱程度で狭小敷地の典型のような場所でした。そこに、容積や高さ制限いっぱいのボリュームから、必要な外部空間を抜き取っていくような設計を行いました。日当たりや視線を考慮しながら外部空間を抜き取っていき、さらに内部から外部に対して連続した空間となるように素材を統一し、内部から外部の見せ方にも配慮した開口を設ける事で、都市の中でも外部を内部に取り込むような設計としました。

The site, less than 30 tsubo, is a typical narrow urban plot.
The design begins with the maximum allowable volume, from which exterior spaces are carved out.

These voids respond to sunlight and views, while unified materials and carefully placed openings create continuity between interior and exterior.
The project brings the outside into the interior, extending spatial experience within a dense urban setting.
