熊本県阿蘇に計画された歯科医院の新築計画。
交通量の多い道路に面した敷地において、地域に開かれた視認性と、医療施設としての落ち着きを両立することが求められた。

外観はシンプルな箱型のボリュームとし、大きな開口部を設けることで内部の気配が外部へとにじみ出る構成としている。夜間には内部の光が外壁を照らし、街に対して穏やかな表情をつくり出す。

待合空間は道路側に大きく開き、外部の風景を取り込みながらも、天井高さや壁面構成により落ち着いたスケール感を保っている。診療室は機能的な動線とプライバシーに配慮しつつ、中庭を介して光や緑を取り込む計画とした。

内部は左官仕上げを基調とし、色味を抑えた素材構成とすることで、医療空間としての清潔感と静けさを両立させている。外部に対して開きながらも、内部には穏やかな時間が流れる場となることを目指した。

This project is a dental clinic located in Aso, Kumamoto.
Facing a busy road, the design balances openness and visibility with a calm atmosphere appropriate for a medical facility.

The building is composed as a simple volume with a large opening that reveals the interior. At night, the illuminated façade creates a gentle presence within the streetscape.

The waiting area opens toward the street, bringing in the surrounding view while maintaining a quiet scale. Treatment rooms are organized with functional circulation and privacy, incorporating light and greenery through a courtyard.

The interior uses subdued materials such as plaster finishes, creating a clean and tranquil environment.The project aims to provide a space that is open to the community while maintaining a sense of calm within.
